Fasten your seatbelts, you're in for a wild ride.
An Alberta, Canada, woman was driving to work when she hit and killed a coyote - or so she thought. The animal actually wound up stuck in the grill of her car as she drove the 20 miles to her workplace.
Georgie Knox shared photos of the coyote "embedded" in her car on Facebook, revealing that she called Alberta Fish and Wildlife about the incident as soon as she became aware.
They arrived on the scene and freed the "poor little guy," whom Knox said was without serious injury.
"Miraculously, he was freed and had minimal injuries despite having hitched a ride from Airdrie to Calgary at highway speed!" Knox wrote on Facebook. "The biologist checked him over and gave him the good to go."
The coyote was released in Kananaskis, according to Knox's post.
"Clearly mother nature has other plans for this special little guy!" she wrote.
Knox's post has been shared more than 200,000 times on Facebook.
Commenters praised Knox for doing the right thing.
"So glad he was saved," one commenter wrote.
